Refinishing wing

I'm getting ready to sand down the top of the wing to remove the layer of clearcoat which is getting a little hazy. If I **** it up, I plan to paint it to match the body color. Does anyone have a pic of an EVO (red would be nice) where the top of the wing is painted to match the body color? Post it if possible.

Take it to a detail shop and have it buffed. I wouldnt bother trying to sand the clear down.

Buffing will not help. The clear is seperating from the carbon fiber. You can actually push down on the hazy part and get it to go back to clear/black. I suspect this is what's happening to evo wings will clearcoat problems.

I don't know enough about carbon fiber. I would think it would be a bad idea to not re-clearcoat, or paint it to protect it.
