Please tell me you don't have those wind deflectors...

I don't think tint only costs $100-150 does it? Where can you get a flash for $175 (which vendor)?

Because they look tacky and are a favorite of the hooptie-rice crowd. They are an embarrassment on an Evo. Tint for $175 is good as long as it is high quality. A good installation with high quality film costs $250 around here.

 

base dynoflash from AL. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...hreadid=168630 some guy in chitown here got his done all around for $120, and it looked completely fine. i think $150-$200 would be a better estimate of how much tint would cost though. and if you live in IL or state like mine, it is illegal to get fronts, so it should be cheaper then $150 for some. water gets in so easily in this car, plus i smoke (only occassionally in my car) so i need them, and i keep the windows open to keep the car smelling fresh and cooler in the summer. i think they look awesome, especially with my red and black theme. i saw them on a bunch of lancers and really liked the look on four doors. which makes them functional and thus unable to be labled rice.

Of course everyone and their Grandmother get's tint on their cars here in the Sunshine State.

 

Dam, i paid $300 for 5% all around. I shopped around and it cost that everywhere.

 

Ah, that's only if you happen to get one while Al's in town. It's $199 otherwise, which still is a great price. They look terrible, but if you need them due to smoking, then they are functional, I suppose. The fact you do smoke in the car is far worse than the fact you installed the wind deflectors, though, so I'd rather not have known that. I shake my head in disgust and awe everytime I see a car owner smoking inside an expensive vehicle. It may help that the windows are always down, but if a non-smoker gets in the car, the smell is unmistakably horrid.

 

I paid $125 5% all the way with no windshield stripe. Got a ticket and switched to 12% in the front and 5% in the back.

 

but how the hell did you do that? i have turboback including test pipe and i still havent seen any flames. do i have to rev to a certain rpm or what....i wanna look cool too

 

are the deflectors removable? i kinda want to put em on only when it rains.
