Kyodo News agency said Goldman Sachs is believed to have sold the shares to a number of institutional investors in Japan and abroad in small lots since Mitsubishi Motors reported to other change in the major shareholders' list.
Just as long as someone buys the shares it should not matter. Posted from an STi owner...NextCar.

? i think the only think keeping there head above water is the evo.Mitsubishi is not making a huge profit on the Evos. The Evo is not a mainstream car, it is a low volume unit. If they were depending on the Evo to stay in business, they would have gone under a long time ago. The Mitsubishi family of companies is helping them out, plus, their sales have been improving in Europe and Japan lately.
I think it is importatnt to remember that
is a global company and, as stated above, is doing well or at least improving sales elswhere. The major shareholder is still the Mitsubishi group of Companies, with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries holding the largest stake. The Mitsubishi group is not going to let MMC fail. As such, all this speculation about
's health is really for naught. The entire Mitsubishi group would have to go belly-up for MMC to disappear.

subie owners last great hope in our little friendly war is, "well, mitsu is about to go out of business..."
it reminds me of the kids, who after they get a beatdown from another kid, say "well, my mom is prettier than your mom..."

all mitsu has to do to win over more people is to have more competent sales people, better service, and lower their damn prices...other than the evo, none of their cars are a deal, nissan is far more car for the price and toyota is far better build quality, mitsu needs to lower prices to suite the needs of the average american...maybe they should do what nissan did and have an engine thats very adjustable that can be put in all their cars to save money on vehicle cost...it worked wonders for nissan...but leave the evo as is
Just a mistery that was bought & sold 2x
