Man, i almost did that with my evo last winter on the freeway! Their right...drive with normal tires on the rain. Cuz it's awd doesn't mean s***!

that was hilarious...I can tell you driving an RX7 in the rain is no joke and definitely not fun. It's so light that it has much trouble putting the power down in the wet. I can't say I've ever felt insecure in the Evo in bad weather. Makes me think this "battle" came down to tire choice. I'm really surprised the Evo did so poorly!

Yeah I have that video, and i've watched it like 15 times, I LOVE IT hahaha

Best part is: "A fit, young racing driver, in a super car, and he cannot pull away, from a fat man, in a 4 door saloon" - I had to pause the video I was laughing so hard the first time I heard that.

ur kinda biased there, dude. even if the evo was running on a dry circuit, he would problemly lose to Tsuchiya. that dudes skill is freaking awesome. i guess u didnt see the video where he beat an R34 vspec and a turbo AE86 in an NA AE86. that man is awesome.

Stew, I wouldn't take my car on a wet track and yes DR is less complicated than other forms, but go ask Jon that drove the AMS car at One Lap DR is not easy if you don't do it alot.

There is a guy on NABR forums that let his wife drive his 9 second DSM she ran a 16.9@89mph ha ha ha.
