Need Help Installing Gages..
Hey all!
I am installing 3 Defi gages, and am in process of wiring them up right now..
First off, can the Defi D gages be dimmed with the gage cluster?
If so, where the heck do I pull the power from?
I have tried hooking up the ground to ground obviously, and the white power
wire specified as "illumination" I am trying to pull from the back of the dimmer
switch but the gage is acting exactly the opposite of the gages. Basically, when I
turn down the dimmer, the Defi's get brighter. WTF?
I have tried reversing the leads to no avail..
I can get the gages to light up, but I would really like them to dim with the
rest of the gages, so is this possible?
Vehicle is a 05 EVO GSR.

I appreciate you answering, but that doesn't answer my question. I am one of the few that
actually searches for answers first, but didn't find what I am looking for.

^lol, i hate hearing search search search. Everyone always assumes when you ask a question you haven't searched. I still can't find anything about installing a A/F gauge.
as for the illumination, off of the dimmer switch its a neg dimmer. hook one side of the light to the 12v on the dimmer and the other to the neg dimmer wire. as for afr, hook up 12v/ground and go to your first 02. It is one of the 4 wires there. You could simply try each one and when you start the car the thing will go to rich and slowly go down as it warms up. You'll know when you have the right one. All the others will do crazy stuff on the gauge. Sorry I don't know the exact wire.
