It's going to be hard to see the boost gauge (and close your hood) if you install it there. :-)

Just basic, everyday mods. What does that metal (aluminum) thing do?

hmmm let see Mr Warrtalon according to lancershop.com and greddy >>and I quote:

Product Description

The flow of air is not limited to the outside of a car. A car?s radiator needs air to flow into it to allow an engine to maintain a consistent temperature. Unfortunately, gaps in the structure around a radiator can allow air to escape around it. To help improve the flow of air into the radiator, the Radiator Cooling Plates can be utilized to help channel the flow of air directly to the radiator. This will improve the efficiency of a radiator and adds a nice touch to an engine bay. The greddy diversion panel is constructed out of lightweight aluminum and features the GReddy logo engraved in the surface.

Fits: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII 03-05 MR, GSR, RS

Tech Tip: Easy install, takes less then 20 minutes in your driveway.

.....but I have no way to take or make a measurement on such a device. In the meantime I just have it for looks

oh and on the basic mods, yes they are but it is not an "everyday thing" for me. actually I never wanted a BC. But what the hell,,,Im getting divorced yeehaaa!

That was pretty funny. Whether they are functional or not, I'm sure you are excited about getting new parts for your car so it's all good. Have you got them installed yet?
