Full Carbon OEM Wing Question!

Here's my question:

Has anyone ever sanded and re-clear coated the center section of their OEM wing?

I've seen this done to the painted sides numerous times, as seen here:
http://www.socalevo.net/index.php?op...&topic=14791.0

but I'm having some trouble with the clear coat on the center section as well, andI've never seen anyone mention redoing the center section.

Instead of dealing with the hassle of trying to start a warranty claim, I'm considering modifying the wing to be all carbon, but I figure I might as well do the center section too while I'm at it consider that I'm having issues with it.

If anyone has any first-hand experience with this, I'd appreciate any input!

Thanks in advance.

this might be a dead horse subject to older evo-ers.

but what is the best way to strip the paint?
and i assume it will have to be clearcoated?

I don't think 9s are, I remember reading something somewhere on here about that. I think they are part fiberglass now and actually were having cracking issues

You can try bringing it to a bodyshop but most places have no experience with cf and won't deal with it. It can be done though. Sorry I don't have a better answer than that for you.
