Logic Performance...anybody home?

I ordered a 3" highflow cat from Logic Performance on November 2nd. No mention of any backorder on the website. The next day I get an order confirmation email with a corresponding order number and the following info...

Date Ordered: Wednesday 02 November, 2005

The comments for your order are: Currently out of stock

Your order has been updated to the following status:
New status: Pending

Please reply to this email if you have any questions.


After hearing nothing for a week I replied to this email on the 8th asking for an update and/or an ETA. Got a reply the next day saying it should be shipped in "a week or so". Well it's been more than 2 weeks now and subsequent emails have gone unanswered. Very rude. Is anybody else dealing with a backorder on the Ultimate Racing 3" HFC. I had hoped to have this taken care of by now. I'm ready to cancel the order if any other vendors have this part in stock. It doesn't take much to answer an email. Maybe my $160 isn't enough to merrit Logic's really good customer service.

Yeah I've had the same experience when it comes to getting someone to answer emails.

If I had time during the day I would but it's irrelevant if you think about it. By sending me an email when the order was placed and then replying to another email, THEY established a line and the mode of cummunication...not me! Why should it be my problem to chase them down with a long distance phone call because they've suddenly and arbitrarily chosen to abandon our line of communication?

I've worked, supervised and managed customer service departments for a couple big companies. It's not a lot to expect a 24 hour turnaround on email inquiries nowadays. In fact it's the industry standard. Emails that ask "where is my stuff" are the easiest to answer anyways. I've answered hundreds of them in the past and they always start out with "I apologize for the delay and appreciate your continued patience...".

I'm a pretty reasonable guy. If I wasn't I would have cancelled this order once I discovered there was a backorder on this part that wasn't listed anywhere on their website or during the checkout process. Did they know about it? Of course they did. The email telling me about the backorder was automated. Try to remember that this order was placed on November 2nd. I've given them plenty of chances to throw me a bone. I think I'm done with them.

Chris is a really nice guy and I don't think anything other than him being super busy is the reason for his lack of communication, try calling on the phone.

I'm sure you're right Sean, and I can totally relate, but it's really not an excuse. We're all overworked and underpaid nowadays. If it took me more than 24 hours to reply to my customers I wouldn't be able to afford mods for the Evo...much less be able to keep my job.

logicperformance has a great business, I have bought many things from Chris and no problems yet. He replies to all of my emails, pm's, and phone calls. You should give them a call if you cannot get in touch with them through email

maybe he just doesn't like you! i know i don't after reading this thread.

i don't understand why people get on here crying about bad service they have received from someone. soon we'll be seeing threads on a certain fast food place didn't give them the correct sandwich. all in the name of trying to make them look bad. and that's what you are doing!

can you not just call them up and deal with them privately and in a professional manner? i guess not. maybe there was a family emergency, or there computer died, etc. call them and find out. we can do nothing for you on this site.

everytime i call them they answer! both chris and dru are awesome and i have purchased many things from their company and will purchase more in the future.

mods-please construct a "cry me a river forum" for those who need it. thank you.

That's fine with me. I won't lose any sleep over it. If you're the type of chump that likes to chase down the people you give your money to then it's no surprise you can't wrap your brain around this type of thread.

Had I posted something like this on the 3rd of 4th of November then yeah...you could say I'm a whiny *****. But I've waited 3 weeks and 3 unanswered emails before posting it. I'm trying to arrange for an TB exhaust install and dyno tune. My Tanabe DP took a week to get here and that $hit comes from Japan. What's the story on the HFC is all I wanna know so I can schedule things.

The guy that works there(I think his name is Drew) is a nice guy. You should give him a call, he sounds like he is willing to help over the phone.

If I am not mistaking they get the parts from different warehouses. It is worth try calling them.
