Ikeya Formula Sequential Shifter evos 4 thru 8 $1,319.76

Basically it will turn your standard manual transmission into a sequential style gear box without the cost of a new transmission. It is an easy bolt-on modification for the factory installed 5 speed transmissions.

Pulling the lever down results in an upshift, pushing the lever forward results in a downshift. There is a lock-out for reverse, to avoid accidental misshifts.

The shifter comes with an LED monitor, which indicates which gear you are in.

im back-

compared to the factory shifter- 10.

compared to a short shift kit with all bushings replaced, 8....

I have only missed 3 to 4 (total#)shifts since I have installed it- (2nd to 3rd/3rd to 2nd)
Compared to the factory 2nd to 3rd miss or grind- its sweet. There is no way you can screw up or miss-shift if you are rough with the shifter-

Install difficulty: Holy crap, the entire manual is in Japanese- The pictures are good, and I am good with lego's......
Hardest part is you have to install new syncro tens. in the tranny.(battery,tray-out, motor mounts loose/out, motor tilted to put 3 bolts in the tranny)

Adjust by driving around and shifting- find the sweet spot with the cable adjusters, and tighten down.

It is designed for a RHD, so the shifter sits a little to the right-(its ok for me, because I want to convert to rhd anyways)
The height is adjustable on the knob, and gets harder to jam into gear when you adjust it low....

Overall- well worth my money. I can shift through the gears a lot faster without the embarassing rev....plus its just cool. When I drine, its like playing gran turismo with a really good simulator...(FUN) I ordered from taka-kiara(whatever) and had it within 2 weeks...unlike "shellresistant" 8 to 10 weeks????
The shifter is sold without the indicator- The indicator is "universal"- and is for sale further on down the list...
