interesting point ^^
cause my 2005 lancer evolution mr window sticker doesnt call it and 8.

imo, mitsubishi made a good decision in not officially calling the usdm evo a gsr. because of the confusion that it would cause, to the general public, between japan's model

-1 for you.

Also, I flipped through this car's whole manual and they don't even mention RS or MR in it either! Your "source" to proof another cars nonexistence can't even prove your car's existence!

Another -1 for you.

That's like exactly what I have been saying all along. Except substitute "you" for "Mitsubishis part's department, Mitsubishi's service department and Mitsubishi's legal and federalizations department and you"

And for the record, you could probably find a lot of salesman to say anything you can imagine, however I am not just any old salesman. I am a professional. I know my product and I know my trade. I never tried to get anyone to believe anything just because I "say" so, that's why I provided links and pictures.

To be honest, I do not care either way, and thus did not vote in the poll. I call my car "an Evo" because that's what it is. I am, however, more inclined to agree with the parts and service departments (the technical side), rather than the marketing department (the emotional side). FWIW, the Honda Passport service manuals call it a Rodeo (Isuzu), and other than the "H" badge on the front, that's what they are, and that's what many Honda techs call them.

Where on that page does it refer to the MR as the Lancer Evolution IX MR?
Or how about the Lancer Evolution IX RS?
