See if you can get the tech to print out the text/instructions for resolution and post under a different thread? Thanks!

You're out of warranty, so no.

Yes, ask about recalls and see if they have already been performed on your car. THe only one I have listed is the sticker that shows the wrong gross weight. There is another for the fan relay, but I couldn't find it.

was surprised about the back of my seat breaking, took about two weeks for the part to come in, was just leaning over to put something in the passenger seat and pop, broke the plastic backing, a small piece but still. at least they are willing to replace it, and i'm not some fat pig, what's to say it won't happen again and now i'm out of the warrenty. Have 40k on it now and sounds like i'm getting a little whinning in the trans or tc, still on stock clutch, and had a stg2 ams setup. Getting rid of the car though can't make the payments anymore... will be sad to lose the boost though

I'd like to see the pics also. I heard a loud crack/pop once in my driver's seat (I was leaning, pulling my wallet out of my front pocket), but I couldn't find any cracks or damage at all.

Wow great info Warrelton!

Im still under warranty, however I am lowered, intake with exhaust - are they going to XXX my warranty because of this?

I have the temp control issue.

1 more Q, do dealers keep a record if you're car is modded and can other dealers get that info? Lets say this dealer denies my warranty, i learn my lesson and put everything back to stock (which isnt much) and go to another dealer, will they know?

thanks man

Mine broke too, when I leaned back to get my wallet out of my back pocket. Paid for and fixed by Mitsu. No problems. FYI, the leather seatback costs about $1500!!! They have to replace the entire upper part of the seat, not just the plastic. Good luck.

Here's an update on my situation:

I went to Mitsu today and told them about the wing again, getting it replaced AGAIN.

I told them about the 5th gear grind, getting it replaced.

Reset my SRS light for free.

I told them about the seat and they told me there's nothing they can do, I told them i'm going to bring in the TSB and show them so we'll see how that goes. I think I might have to put up a fight for the bolster, everything else is good tho

Screwed that! If the temp knob is hard to turn, I say just suck it up. It's not like it won't turn. I rather not have the dealer touch the car for such a minor issue. It just gives them another chance to look over your car and find things to void your warranty so the next time you go in for a "real" issue, you are screwed. Anyways, just my opinion and no one elses.

Actually, mine was hard to turn and eventually broke. That's when I took it in and got it replaced under warranty. If it's very hard to turn, it's probably a good idea to get it fixed before the whole thing breaks.
