Interesting EVO issue, gas neck filler prob.

About 2 weeks ago I go to fill up my tank, first time its pretty cold, like 14 degrees or so. I Go to get gas, set the pump on automatic and it keeps clicking off like gas is hitting the filler so I get pissed and say screw it, must be the pump and just do half a tank. next time a few days later its still cold, and the pump does the same thing so I'm thinking, what did i do now. I was no where near the filler neck, it couldnt be crushed. By this I mean I can put in gas, but very slowly otherwise it backs up to the spout. So it gets warmer, and boom, it works perfectly. Then today, its real cold so I go to get gas and it starts acting up again. It must take twice as long to fill up because I cant get the full flow out of the pump, maybe half a squeeze. So I listen and it sounds like gas is backing up in the filler neck. This is impossible, no way it can shrink this much. Anyone else have this goofy issue?

Funny, i just went through this yesterday. Clicked it self off about 5 times before i figured it out. I had to pull the pump out about half way and let it just barely sit in the filler neck. Then it worked just fine. Strange? Temp was about 3 degrees.
