Bulletproof and Mitsu DO NOT go in the same sentence.

Also 5 speed is great for getting to 60 without having to take the extra shift. That's how the EVO beat the STI in lots of tests. It also helps me on the autocross course-I can get a lot done in 2nd gear

i stand corrected, i thought the numbers were 3500 and 3000 for 03 and 04.

the correct numbers are

2003: 4949
2004: 4497
2005 through march.(last time they give a model breakdown) : 851

I read in a autoweek about 1600 for the 06 MR. I read there were about 1100 for each model RS and MR. Who knows?

I know mitsu is not keen on exact #s. I asked them for a color break down for the MR's. I could not get this from the dealer, yet from lexsus you can get an exact # break-down per modeal and per car color.

Then read the sales numbers.

dude.

really.

:shakeshead:

I'll spoon feed you the proof, as i've told you multiple times.

either click this link.
http://media.mitsubishicars.com/deta...41275&mime=ASC

.. or simply look at the pretty chart below.

Now if you look under the part that says LANCER EVOLUTION...

you'll see CYTD. That means, Current Year To Date. Seeing as this is a Jan '05 release, that means both the 03 and 04 sales years are complete.

Normally i don't feel the need to overly express my dissappointment in the lack of common sense, but this time i'll make an exception.

Your numbers were wrong.

have a fine evening.

You dont have to be a dick. You said nothing bout clicking the media link, but I should have read and found that. Anyways, I was high and you were right.

Also, the numbers I said were the original production numbers on a press release in late '02.

Well, my friend works in the division that supports all the dealerships in the So Cal area so she has access to all this information. I simply asked the question and she supplied the numbers.
