I beat a (track, not that the option package matters) 350Z twice in Chicago last weekend. (25-30) female driver, smiled and then rev'd at me. We ran twice (two separate stoplights) up to about 80mph.

The 350z had me off the line (I'd just completed my break in miles and wasn't ready to drop the clutch) by about half a car, but the evo just pulled away in second and third gears. I was about a car length ahead around 80mph when we let off.

I've got a friend locally with a 350z, I'm going to be lining up against him shortly to see how much was the driver and how much was the car.

Full write-up of my trip and thoughts at 1500 miles shortly...

By next Wednesday I should at least be at the 600 mark... Then I'll be bringing it to the track and see what times I can lay down...

i raced a 99 m3 (chipped) from a roll @ 70mph - we both rolled in 5th gear i crept up to 90 and had about a car and a half - by 110 i had 2 full cars

this was done during the day on a road with no traffic - i don't normaly race on the street, but a new car is very tempting

dang!! a stock Evo vs. a chipped m3 at highway speeds??!! that's pretty impressive...i thought Evo's would lose power at over 100mph since its an awd...can't wait to hear the results after its modded. nice kill

ON a very empty and closed road, I ran a lightning with a chip, pulley, and somethin else... I dusted him the first 3 times, cause he just sat there spinning his tires.. And on the 4th, he finally got some grip, but couldn't catch up to me and I couldn't pull away.... Later that night, I creamed a trans am at the same place...

Most of the fast cars around here (Buffalo) must be in hibernation still. Maybe they are just hiding in fear of the Evo.

I did not actually race my brother in his 320hp 3000# 951, but there is an intersection where he knows the point where he can hit 60 mph. I hit 60 before that point with him(220#) in the car!
He is a little worried.
I will race him when he gets his car out for the summer.

A guy in a Camaro asked me if I wanted to race.

I said, "sure, are you going home to get your fast car?"

He did not find that funny
