Any Right-Sided Steering Column Gauge Mounts/Pods?

I love the OEM look of the autometer steering column pod, but am a little confused why the put the gauge on the left with the tach/speedo over there.

1st: I'd love to find a piece like the autometer with the pod on the right side.

If not, could someone point me to a clean bolt-in pod mount so I can just put the gauge on the right side. It'll be a black D gauge for boost.

If this has been asked before, do me the coutesy of linking the old thread. I've read quite a few of the gauge threads.

I know what you mean about gauge threads... It took me DAYS to find a thread that actualy helped me, sadly... I lost it when i tried to return and can't remember what i used to search.... I suck.

For your question. I believe i've seen what you're looking for. I'll do my best to find it, but no promises. 1 of 1,993,384 gauge threads and counting.

When the pod is on the left i covers near nothing. I have the autometer on and all it covers is the parking brake light. I was a little worried before I got it (that it would cover to much), but everything was fine. Also, dont use the how-to on this site. I installed my so you couldn't see the little plastic rivits.

Thanks guys, that's what I needed to know. I'm not worried about blocked views, but my wife spends alot of time in the EVO and she may be a bit more picky.

I used the Defi Fitting Kit. Not the mounts that come with the gauges, the optional ones. They mount really nice with two bolts and a rubber mount that is slightly curved, and works perfectly on the steering column. And, they are only $15.00.

Sorry for the blurry pics, damn camera didnt want to focus in the dark. blah.

Boost is 60mm AFR is 52mm.

When I am driving the only thing that is blocked is the speedo under 10mph. who the hell goes under 10 mph ever anyway

What are the part #'s for the cup holder and the rubber mounting kit?

I have been looking all over for them from a reputable seller and haven't found them yet, thanks in advance!

I've been getting them from this place called egauges.com. Website isnt super looking, but they have been good, fast shipping and no problems.

Here are the Defi accessories:
http://www.egauges.com/vdo_agrp.asp?...efi_Link&Cart=

You need the 'Gauge Mounting Pedestal' and if you dont have the cup that came with the gauge, you need '52mm Gauge Cup'.

They also have every Defi product and option, fitting, replacement part, etc.

heres my bf gauge with the pod it comes with. You could get just a standard mount. I never understood why they put it on the left either.

Well I can only speak for the Defi options, as I have seen them..

In my post above, the pics show the optional Fitting Kit. Its a mount with a rubber base that is fixed with two small bolts.

the 'standard' Defi mount that is included with the gauges is just a flexible metal base that comes with double-sided tape, which is what an0ther is using.

I think the Fitting Kit is cleaner, more secure, and more versatile, but you also have to pay extra (like $12.75) for it.

EDIT: Oh, and both these Defi options are just the mounting base, they both use the same gauge cup that is included with the gauge.
