Quick Poll - Please Vote

My Evo was vandalized this weekend, and apparently this is a regular occurance around the area I'm in. I have to decide if I want the wing replaced, or keep it wingless and use the extra money to pay the deductible and maybe a small mod or two.

Advice? Opinions (like will the loss of downforce be that severe for normal driving)?

i didn't know how much i'd like the look wingless, but walking out of the store today, with the snow covering the jacked up pieces dangling from the trunk, it looked pretty sexy!

oh, i definitely wouldn't leave the holes. they're either going to have to replace the trunk as it is, or at least fix the holes (because they are seriously messed up from the wing being yanked). i'd have them professionally fill the holes and paint the trunk, so it would look nice and clean. maybe i'll even have them leave the badges off and i'll toss the uk badge on after the fact. that would look hot i think!

don't think i'll be going the carbon trunk route, as that's a more expensive option, not to mention a longer delivery time, possible fitment issues, etc.

to everyone who thinks i should keep it - could you give me some detailed reasons why?

I like white without the wing... especially if you use the $ for a little more "go" it would be a great sleeper... Like an RS, but with power windows

I've said it many times. Wings on teh street just attract teen boys and cops.

You start to need down force at around 100mph so leave the holes in the trunk so you can bolt it back on for track days. Many ways to cover them nicely. If you just drag race you don't need the wing either.

i love the wing, but i also love wingless. i think the determining factor for me is that if you have a rear lip or something of that nature, wingless looks way better. only do the wing again if you plan on doing no other exterior mods.
