Slim Fan Question

I need a slim fan for my engine bay. I purchased one used, but it is the fan on the front side of the Koyo. I need the one inside the engine bay b/c my intercooler pipes are rubbing against the fan blades really bad. Thanks.

I think most fans you can turn the blades around the other way. just pop the little clip out

If what I'm reading is correct...you bought a slimline fan configured to be a push type fan, when you need it to be a pull type(behind the radiator). With mine, I pulled the fan out by removing the nut on the center of the fan and turned the fan over. The instructions I had also said to reverse the polarity and that was it. good luck.

It has nothing to do with the direction. The fan housing is too wide and when the fan turns on, the blades are rubbing against the UICP.
