what street racing would do to you...
a rumour around in our area that a yellow evo was cought street racing 3 nights ago. i seen these guy around. well... let me see.... car is going to be impounded for 10 days as the sources said, license suspended for a year, 6 months probation, $10,000 to get the car out. well that's all i've heard probably there's more to it. STAY OUT OF STREET RACING, if u don't want to see your evo in an impound lot and dish out a lot of cash to get it back, and suffer the consequenses. it's these kind of stupidity that gets u in the end but at the same time i also feel sorry for that guy

last time I check, the rule still stands, if they catch you street racing they crush your car, no 2nd, 3rd or 4th offense. There cracking down hard here in so cal. Arnold just gave city like ontario, sacramento, san dieog, los angeles 5million dollars to help aid on street racing. I mean the fact crime is rapid here, they rather focus on street racing

Why don't the police use that 5 million to give kids a legit place to race? Like an old air strip or something similar. Doesn't have to be anything with a christmas tree and slips, could just be heads up, because it's heads up in the street anyway.
Of course instead they would rather impound your car and give you a fine, or send you to jail.

Well they make more money catching all these street racers, duh.
What i never understood was, Insurance companies basically endorse street racing by saying if you take your car to the track we wont cover you.

I'm still confused how the local governments can confiscate and destroy private property. Are they using some sort of weird eminent domain corollary?
