Unhappy Evo taking in Water!!!

Hey guys,

Found myself with an odd problem. Under my driver side mat the carpet is soaking wet. Its been so for like 2 days (2 days here in florida of rain). Funny thing is though the Bottom of the mat is Rubber and the top is wet, so Im not sure where the water is comming from. Are there any known body holes that are capped on the chasis?

Seems Ill just take it back to the Dealer, cars 4 months old with 9000Miles, and see what they say. Sure hate dealing with them though.....

See if one of these TSBs applies:

its the sunroof if you've got one... thats what happened to me (still happening). It runs down the A-pillars and down onto the floor. If you corner real hard after it just rained you will probably see water spatter out of the bottom of an A-pillar onto the dash. (mine only goes down the passenger side pillar apparently) If you dont have a sunroof, ignore me.

sometimes what happens is that when it rains water comes in from the front windshield on the top left and water comes down from there, through your left pillar, then it travels down behind your dash board and then alll the way down to your feet, its un noticeable. maybe thats the prob. happened on my friends accord, the rubber lining on the front windshield wasnt on right. just check it out

I have a Sunroof

are there any fixes for this?

Symptoms seem right.....its wet to the left corner of the mat on the top, so water entry seems to be from the top somewhere...

Will the warranty cover this?
