US EVO Schroth harness install

Hi All,
Well, wtz finally got his Evo. White, high wing no-sunroof car. I'm going to take you through the installation of a driver's side Schroth Ralleye 4 asm 4-point autocross belt. I am a roadracer but needed something quick to test this car with. This system could not have been easier. It is a 2" harness with detachable tail. To install the front belts: Remove 2 phillips screws from center console (under lid behind handbrake). Push console up and out of way (be carefull not to pull back too hard and you won't damage/disconnect the intercooler spray button). Maneuver drivers seat back and passenger seat forward to gain access to inboard seatbelt bolt. You will need a 17mm socket with extension. Pass it under the console support and remove bolt. Push front part of harness system through the Recaro seat slots from behind (a little tight but it fits). Put inboard lap belt eye in place at a 45 degree angle pointing forward. Put seat belt buckle and bolt on top and re-install. One corner done. On the outboard side, remove the pillar bolt for your existing belt from behind the seat. Save the large spacer. The belts come with one long bolt, three short ones and washers. Use the long bolt here. Push the long bolt through the harness eye, attach existing chest belt, then put in the spacer and the washer. Tighten bolt with harness lap belt forward as per inboard side. Halfway through. Now remove back seat cushion. There are 2 pull tabs on the front bottom of the rear seat cushion. Pull these forward and pull cushion up. Note orientation and remove the outboard and next inboard rear seatbelt bolts. Flip the tail straps so that the adjustable end is outboard towards door (this makes it easier to adjust in the end). Bolt the tail harness with the eyes on the bottom and the existing rear seatbelt hardware on top in place. Before final tightening, orient tail harness for correct load angle. You will then have to bend the harness eye tabs to line up (this is ok). Tighten tail strap in place, re-install seat cushion and your done! Now lengthen tail strap, connect to shoulder straps, and adjust to fit. Schroth harnesses are more expensive than most, but I have them in all my racecars and always will. By the way, Danvers Mitsubishi was great. Paid slightly over msrp by my choice because Mat Martin got me the exact car I wanted 4 days after I called him. In and out in 20 minutes and I did'nt have to watch no stinking video!
Cheers,

WTZ, got any pictures? I am considering doing the same thing for autocrossing this spring/summer.

Thanks and congrats on the car.

Sorry Mike,
No pics but I tried to include all the detail I could. Once you start the job it is almost self-explanatory.
Cheers,
