Any of you with Evo VIIIs, have a G-Tech Pro? I really would like to see what the peak acceleration G's are for each gear. If you don't have a G-Tech Pro, then just drive up to me here in Canada and I'll lend you mine. It'll also give me the chance to see the Evo in person.

 

I think my sysadmin at work has a GTech Pro. Maybe I can scam it from him for a little while.

 

That would be great, as that will tell me more then any dyno or 1/4 mile numbers may tell me.

 

Here are the G's in my car, for comparison sake. Colt (Mirage) turbo peaking 18 psi and droping to 14 psi (leaking boost controller). Tested on 94 octane, June 2000.

• 1st gear: .51 G's
• 2nd gear: .53 G's
• 3rd gear: .38 G's
• 4th gear: .27 G's
• 5th gear: .23 G's

 

Still waiting for my sysadmin at work to bring it in for me. He said he would, so maybe I need to give him a friendly reminder on Monday.
