For sale is a Gtech Pro Competition performance meter made by Tesla Electronics. This meter mounts on the dash and provide a tach with shift lights, accelerometer, 1/4 mile times, 0-60 times, and other information. A must for any racing enthusiast. The meter is in great condition will all wiring and mounts. It was in my EVO VIII for a while and I loved having it. There is even a setting to warn you when you are taking a corner to fast for the vehicle and how many G's your pulling at launch. It is very cool, but I don't have my EVO anymore so I don't need it. This is the 2001 model on Gtech's website. Newer models sell for $300.00 on ebay, but this one is only $150 and I am very negotiable on the price. Did this one get the firmware update to 4.0?

 

I have no Idea, it hasn't been in my car in about 2 years. When was the firmware update? I purchased it in 2004/2005 but it has never been connected to a computer. i only used it for basic functions (shift/cornering lights, 0-60 time, tach) it was more for show on my Evo than anything since I never raced or rallied.

Not sure honestly, it was sometime after the RR came out as it was supposed to upgrade it to have some of the RR exporting functions which is what I am after =/. The firmware was avail for free till like midway in 2008 it seems but since then has all but disappeared.
