Everyone seems to go with the BF gauge series, and it seems people agree they are accurate. Im wondering if D series are as accurate, and why more people don't chose to go with the D series over the BF?

 

I went with the D, works fine for me

 

The D series are basically just like an Autometer mechanical.

We had many D gauges that were way off from being at 0 before even installing them. Seemed like at least 1 out of 3 were off by several psi.

BF's use stepper motors and are much more accurate than any mechanical gauge.

 

i have bf's myself...very accurate + very good looking x high quality + matches dash display color = bad a$$...nuff said

i just replaced my autometer ultralite boost gauge with a d gauge and love it.

 

bf's it is, i knew there would be something like that.

D work great so far for me.

 

d is going to be off by a couple psi but for the money, its pretty good. All mechanical ones will be off a little. I used to run autometer in my old evo and it was off so this time I went with the BF and had a little sticker shock while I waited for it to arrive, but once I installed it, that all went away. The gauge is awesome!!
