Hello,
I have a Defi Oil Pressure Gauge that has been working fine for about 3 months and yesterday the readings from the gauge are much lower and today it is reading 0. Is this a bad gauge, clogged sensor, or is my oil pump going out? How do you tell if the oil pump is dead?
Any help is greatly appreciated

I just had something similar happen with my Defi oil pressure gauge, although my gauge never read zero. Mine would go to one spot and never move. It was bad wiring/sensor. Once that was replaced everything went back to normal. Mine was heat damaged so I wrapped the new one with some shielding. Hopefully that will keep it from happening again. I believe you would get an idiot light if oil pressure failed completely, but I'm not sure.
