You don't sit in the car if you have a TT, that why people have them.

I set my TT on auto w/ defult at 20 sec. (starts with 20sec. on the timer, if you boost, it goes up, then slowly goes down. So basiclly it does at least 20 sec and more if I boost alot). I don't think it a have-to-do mod but its a nice feature.

Also, it says in the manual to allow the engine to idle for about 60 second or more if stoping immediately after driving at high speed and driving up hill. So if you drive to the store and find a spot in 20 sec., the engine still needs to idle for 40 sec. or more.

I do 30s on my Warrtalon TT, but that's only if I didn't have time to cruise for a few minutes before parking. If I haven't even been boosting, then I set the Warrtalon TT to around 5s.
Funny that you have the WarrTalon TT, I saved about 100 bucks by choosing the 4tun8 TT. I purchased a boost controller, a big mac, 12 pack of dew, thermal underwear and lebanon bologna with the savings.

i have mine set for a minute usually, 30 seconds if i have a mile or so to cruise it.

i have heard differing arguments about turbo timers, but i based my decision to get one on two things.

1.) the manual reccomends a cool down period, like evo_kid said, after driving at high speed or goinging up hills. well, i live in pensylvania, and you can't go anywhere without driving up a large hill

2.) better safe than sorry. i want to keep my car in as a good a condition as i possibly can for as long as i possibly can. i would rather spend 100 dollars now on a turbo timer, than find out 3 years from years from now i need to spend 2 grand on a new turbo.

30 seconds for normal driving, 1 minute if I've been in boost in the last 5 minutes of my drive. I was able to get my alarm wired such that I can arm the car with it still running. It is a pager as well so I'll know if anyone tries to screw with it while it's still on and I'm walking away out of view/earshot.
