Proper cool down time for the Turbo

This is for any Turbo Timer: Greddy, HKS, Apex-i, etc.

I do 30s on my Warrtalon TT, but that's only if I didn't have time to cruise for a few minutes before parking. If I haven't even been boosting, then I set the Warrtalon TT to around 5s.

Warrtalon TT? Didyou name your turbo timer after yourself? Do you have like, Warrtalon exhaust, and Warrtalon boost gauge too?

no need for a turbo timer unless your hammering it. drive it w/o major boost for 2 min then just shut it off, itll be cool. If your hammering it, 30 sec. to 2 min, depending if your beating it or just getting half boost or so. our turbos are water and oil cooled.

I'm a newb.. and actually searched sometime back about this. Since its a watercooled turbo why does it need a timer anyhow? If so why doesnt the manual mention this?

I have my Blitz TT set to 1:30s regardless of driving habits.....
But if I'm not beating the car then I cruise for a bit and do a manual shut down

Because I don't have one. I manually choose how long I wait.

I always try to stay out of boost for the last few minutes of driving.

TTs are a godamn waste of money. unless you come into your parking spot sideways under WOT there is no reason to sit and tuch yourself for a minute before you get out of the car.

So does the warrtalon TT time decrease if u really need a pee at the end of the trip, or is your bladder control as fast as your 1/4 mile times
