sup people...I'm a newbie here. I was looking for a place to find more info on the Evo's. I looked at one the other day. I might be getting one but the sales person, being a sales person, I think is giving me a line of crap. First he said that the an EVO, off the production line, dynoed at 320 rwhp...which I find hard to believe. And I just saw a dyno at a magazine showing 250 rwhp. Ofcourse when he finds me a yellow one, I think I might say that I won't buy the car until he proves to me that the car makes 320rwhp But anway, is there any merit in his claim of a stock EVO making 320rwhp or he is just full of ****

I don't think what the guy is telling you is correct.

If you do a search, you will be able to find numbers ranging from 180whp with 91gas to around 240whp. good information on those posts.

kinda figured that he was just trying to feed me a line there but I will still ask for the same thing. Though I may wait for the 04 to come out and see what kind of improvements they will make, hopefully a 6 speed would be nice.

its funny how dealers/salesmen think alot of buyers are stupid, with no knowledge under the hood.

when i first got our civic back in 2000, the dealer was feeding me shyt with alot of bogus information such as me beating a mustang on stock. it seems nowadays they'll do anything to sell a car.

its funny how i shut him up by telling him all the specs and info. (can't say i know alot about the Lancer cuz i just just recently got into it). he didn't say anything after that, he had that look on his face that he was stupid. hahahahaha
