Few pix of my Tarmac Black Evo VIII

Enjoy! It looks like the Black color has an added blue pearl on it if you look closely.

I love it! This car has superb handling and grip. From the pix above, I just came back on a short canyon run and decided to fill her up even though it still has a little over half tank left. Already has 200 miles in just a matter of 2 days.

Well, maybe in Oz, but the black US Lancers do not have the blue specs. Ours (including mine) are just a solid black color.

Well, it all depends on your taste. The plate holder has 3 mounting screws which 2 of them actually goes into the bumper, where a hole was drilled, and the other is mounted on the aluminum front mount grille. Not sure if the holes on the bumper were pre-drilled from the factory because when i got mine, plate holder was already in place.

If your unsure about putting the bracket on, they have to drill a hole in the fascia to mount it.. Your better off not putting it on if you don't want it.. If you have the option.. Its Illegal where I am to deliver the car without the bracket, so I had to remove it and put a plug in where they drilled the hole (its 1/2" in size too!)

It has three mounting holes.. one is the grille bolt on the driver side, the second is up under the 'vent opening' next to that grill, which I don't think is already there, though it might be, however because it faces down, its not visible. The third is right through the friggin fascia... just behind the plate bracket itself.. whats worse is they use a treated bolt and washer that are gold in color.. not even black anodized.. Fortunately you can get a small black body plug in the right size that will close the hole, and its virtually invisible.. I jsut can't help but feel for you guys who have colors other than black... The hole is definitely large enough to be seen at a distance if you just remove the bolt and the rubber anchor that sits in the hole, especially if your car is white or silver..

LoL! It's hard to look close to msrp here in NorCal. I've been thru like 4 dealerships trying to make the best deal possible and finally found one. Let's just say I had a good deal very close to sticker plus extras and no, I didn't pay $10k over and that is just ridiculous. Whatever I paid for, I have no regrets upon. I own it and I love it. That's what it matter to me.
