I took the bracket off.. leaves a hole in the fascia, looks ALOT better without it.

My sister's Lexus IS300 doesn't run a front plate and she hasn't had a ticket yet (SoCal), almost 30k miles too. I guess its all about preference. Sure it gives a cop a reason to pull you over but most dont ticket for just that and its not a point just a fix it.

My 2 cents

BTW Sweet car. The black makes it look tough
