my stiffy whines?

replace the supplied rubber o-rings with some poly or teflon washers. can be found at the local lowe's, builder's square, home depot.

EVERYONE THAT HAS THE WHINE NEEDS TO DO THIS!!!!! What happens is that soft rubber o ring gets over torqued during installation and deforms causing the "whine". Replace it with a harder polyurethane plumbing o ring you can get at home depots plumbing dept. and the whine is gone! Take the supplied oring from the kit so you get an idea on the o rings diameter. I did this and it was gone...

How many miles on your car cause the soft o.e. motor mounts might be worn to the point that it is tranfering the vibration/noise..Order some mounts from Hendersonperformance.com and in conjunction with the stiffy you will be VERY happy with the results.... Did you dynamat too? THAT LAMBO IS SICK!!!post up some pics of it or send a link....check the Ingalls stiffy reveiw for other ?'s and installation pics etc. It's on the home page on evom on the left..

I just installed the Stiffy. I have the whine as well. I'll be sure to try out some poly orings.

mitsuorder and robstamina does this COMPLETELY eliminate the whine? Or just lessen it?

I don't *really mind it but I think it will get annoying over time.
