Yeah I would have never thought of that. Wonder if that would account for the reading just being messed up through that range of RPMs. That would also explain why the car would run good at some RPMs, but not at others.

It will throw a code if the MAF isn't plugged in.

It did throw a code after a min of driving. I am not sure what the code is though. I have not been able to check it.

What shop did you go to? You should take it back and they should fix it at no cost to you.

I took it to Auto X because some of my friends have taken cars to them and have had no problems. I for one won't be taking my car back there. I really needed to get a clutch put in or I would have just taken it to Buschur and let him do it.

It would have to be something that the shop did because the car was running fine when I took it in there, but now this is happening. Also I had someone following me and they said they saw a greyish type smoke coming from the back while it was doing this. It sounds like the car is throwing way to much fuel. I hope those bastards didn't mess with the utec lol.

Stop speculating and open the damn hood. If you're not willing to work on the car then there is no reason for us to sit here and speculate with you.

Open the hood, check to see if the MAF is plugged in, check the clamps on all of the IC pipes that you can get your hands on, it's a 10mm bolt.

it's gonna be the MAF, will take all of 15 sec's to fix, it'll take longer to get the hood open than to plug the MAF back in, lol. Just go check it!

I can't at the moment lol. I had to drop the car off at my house and then leave because I was already late for work. I get off work at 11 and will check it then.
