If you are going to to that... in my opinion, use the GTWorx springs 1st, Swift 2nd, and I'm not personally familiar with Robi Spec's springs, but hear good things about them too.

Pretty much any other spring out there would not go on my own Evo, or a customer's even if they were free. I say you will get the best performance out of the GTWorx springs due to keeping a decent amount of spring travel. However, kids these days are more caught up with "looks" vs. true performance.

Don't use Eibach. I have Swift and love them.

These two have already said it - Swifts!

My reviews are in this thread:

Absolutely no reason to get the Eibachs. What made you even consider them?

Probably and probably to answer your questions. Check this thread out for information on more popular, better suited springs for an Evo. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=324728

Reason for wanting Eibach, cus I've seen it on every advertising webpage about evos and they are pretty cheap. I don't know anything about suspension setup, but like to lower my car for street use only. I'm assuming that lowering the car would give a better handling and also look good , but not liking the fact that I might have to slow down on street bumps or steep curbs. My main scare is, if only using spring will ruine my suspension sometime in the future. I love the looks of the car and performance of the car, but I don't want to sacrifice performance over looks. Is there anything else I need beside springs, or will I be set to go? Trust me, if I have the money. I would buy the Tien coilover with the adjustable controller so I can do my setup inside the car. I'm so glad I paid off my evo, cus right now I don't have any spare change for mods on my car anymore. I just had a baby, so all the money goes to him. My dream is now put on hold. So my last wish is to have my car lower for the price without hurting my car.

They are close in price to the Swifts. But that is only where they are close. The Swifts are a MUCH better spring - hands-down.

Lowering the car does help with handling, but its also about spring rate. Eibach doesnt even tell you what their rates are. I am guessing near OE or soft. Swifts are stiffer than OE, but they do not kill kidneys.

Dont sacrifice - gain! Swifts have been a huge gain in performace.\

EDIT: Dug up rates...(Front/Rear)
Swift Sports: 179-269, 207-319 (157-314 for MR). -1.4, -0.8 drop.
Swift Spec R's: 157-358, 196-380 (153-380 for MR). Same drop.
Eibach (Progressive? - unknown final rate): 165, 140lbs. -1.2, -1.2 drop.
Stock: 180, 225. Stock - no drop.

The Eibachs are too soft, you'll like the Swifts.

You should rock the Tanabe GF210. they are 30 Percent stiffer than stock and they are one of the springs on the market that just won't sag.
