Confused about Progress springs at various vendors

Thinking about lowering springs, but am confused as to why the Progress springs over at RRM say they lower my 05 Lancer ES 1.7 in the front, and 1.5 in the rear when the Progress springs over at Import Racer and ptuning and most other places say they lower the car 1.8 both up front and in the rear? Why are they different in the lowering heights? And why are the RRM's more money?

Probably just that someone copied down the info wrong. If 2 out of 3 agree, I'd say the one that's different could be wrong.

Why is RRM more expensive? Because that's how they do it, my man. Get them where they're cheap - you're getting the exact same set of springs.

So if I was to get Progress Springs also just get them where they are the cheapest...like ptuning especially when we are able to get the 5% off for evom members? It comes to $149 shipped with 5% discount at ptuning.com. At RRM they are like $169 + shipping. If it's all the same, it's cheaper to go with ptuning.

Are Progress good?...do they sit too low?...or are Tein better? What do you think? I may be getting Springs in a month or two...just wondering.

before u buy those, dont know what the money is like but I have them and theyre alright, they vibrate in the housings, and make a weird noise when u hit bumps and stuff. If u got the money check out NEX full coil overs (if u have a ton of moeny Tein). The NEX i saw were like 500 for FULL coil overs.

Dude, if they vibrate in the housing and make noise, they were installed incorrectly. PERIOD. Don't blame the springs for your mistake.

wow flamefest on me all of the sudden, i read in a couple of threads that this was a problem for the springs, if not i would be curious how to fix that noise cause i searched awhile back when i put them on and it seemed to be a common problem that nobody really had a solution for.

Some people had creaking noises, but no one was experiencing loose springs (that I know of).

this is what I was trying to describe, and I had read several places that it was the springs vibrating against the perch. I could be wrong thats just what I thought I had read, my point being they make an annoying noise.

Any springs are prone to creaking. It's a metal-on-metal situation. Luck of the draw, I guess.

Sometimes I know in the eibachs case that if the springs are installed upside down then there are creaking issues.
