Sunoco gas station attendant dissed my EVO amongst other things...*long read*

wow full service? over here in south florida you do all the gas pumping yourself. and $2.42 for 94 octane? nice. for 93 here in florida its about $2.70 a gallon. anyways you kept your cool that was good. but minute he started mouthing off about the evo being crappy i woulda got right onto his civic.

Twas the night before Christmas and caught at the light,
Was a Toyota Supra and no cops in sight,
I will try, I will try, I will try with this small motor,
To beat this damn Toyota, even though I know I'm slower,
As the light goes green and I pull like no joke,
The Supra erupts in clouds of tire smoke,
Now Smasher, now Rev-ver, now Stroker, now Blitzin,
These are the names of my four VTEC pistons,
Racing ahead I'm the star of the action,
But I know I'm in trouble when I-6 gets traction,
Grabbing second, I hear the RPM's sing,
My mirror is blocked by my shopping kart wing,
I now hear the roar of the big monster gaining,
All I can do is keep the four-banger banging,
In a second, the shock wave hits with a blast,
And my stickers go flying now a thing of the past,
Don't bother with third, cause now it's too late,
Just try to act cool, like you can relate,
Looking up at the taillights as they get smaller,
The driver backs off just to give me a holler,
"You can't win them all," he says in fling,
"You may not win any, in that silly thing,"
I smiled and revved as he pulled out of sight,
With my new mods tomorrow it will be a better night.

yep full service.... This sunoco station was close to where the x-Mas party was being held....
Last week i got 94 at the sunoco down the block from my girls house which was $2.47/gall. Their 93 is $2.37/gall as well.
Anyhow, I like the sunoco by my girls house....service is great, attendants greet you, smile and speak in a pleasant tone of voice...

In Oregon, they pump the gas for you. You can't do it yourself. 1st time I visited there, I started to pump the gas, and the attendant freaked out, like I was committing some horrible crime...

you say he was 6'3"? and your 5'11"? that should put your leg right about his family jewels when fully extended. The trick is not missing. In your case his brave display of killer switches over your evo puts his boys about the size of melons. and unless your blind, you shouldnt have a problem putting his voice an octave or two higher. glad to see that the nonviolence is workin for ya tho. if you need a hug, i give great ones.

i woulda gave him a verbal tip to buy a real car or do his right, granted kill switches are a good idea on a honda, but thats another story.
and yes i do drive a honda, but its not ur riceboy 3 kill switchins nawz honda.
i dont think he really needed to get his *** kicked, he beats himself up when he speaks. i learned to deal with ignorant tuners, we all started somewhere right? but the cocky ones **** me off.
a few weeks back when i was driving across the usa moving from bama to oregon, i stopped to get a mid way oil change. the guy noticed my car was modded, he proceeded to say "hey nice turbo integra man, i like that ls integra", when it clearly is gsr and NOT turbocharged. it clearly says VTEC and Jackson Racing Supercharger. then he proceeded to tell me about his bad *** civic hatch with a b33c2 motor *not what he said but u get my point, he was blowing smoke the whole time. he asks me what i run, i told him mid-high 13's then he proceeds to tell me his cousin runs a low 9 on his setup. and yadda yadda. and how he is gonna put a dohc type r head on his sohc d16 bottom end. more yadda bla bla bla.
you go thru things like that with the cocky ones.
