Can it hold a small amp pushing my interior speakers?

^^^I'm pretty sure, I don't think he had any problems fitting it in there. Hopefully a member steps forward with some first hand experience. I know they're out there.

ummm upgrading oem speakers doesnt add much more weight....and an amp...mmm ok mang

Very true, why bother with a mini battery if you're already adding all the weight from the speakers.

20lbs won't do much of a difference in that case.

well if your putting in speakers that are not much more heavy then the stock speakers, it isn't worth upgrading them nice speakers are significantly heavier then the stock POS speakers. and an amp worth your time installing will add all the weight right back. don't forget you will need new power wires, RCA's, ground, bigger speaker wire etc.

take it from a car stereo dude... if your trying to save weight, then the stereo is the first place. i took out my infinity Kappa perfect 12 with homemade fiberglas box, with the MTX 895 5 channel amp and cap because the stuff weighs a shietload.
