Help Me

big problem with my evo my cylinder #4 sparkplug gap keeps on geting closed all the way. i checked the compression and its good and also did a leak down test and it was good too. changed plugs but as soon as i boost all the way the car runs on 3 cylinders and check engine light comes up reads misfire cylinder 4. i take out the plug and is smashed all the way closed i need help dont know what to do now. car runs fine as long as i dont boost.. go to Mitsu Dealership might it solve it.. or ur spark plug are too long cause Piston to hit spark and smash it up...

are you using oem plugs ?
or aftermarket ones that are not for an evo?

yeah oem plugs and some densos too.

if u dont have any mods then take it to mitsu.. if u do, well ur SOL... sorry, but good luck on whatever route u decide to take from here

NO. that is why its so hard to get anything covered under warrenty as it is, because of people like you. not to mention if he goes into mitsu and mitsu sees a nice fried and cracked piston and he claims to be stock, they are going to know hes lying. i mean they and u and i know there is no way the pistons in the 4g63 on a brand new engine break. not gonna happen. (though nothing is impossible, im pretty sure mitsu would see it that way )
