I finally did it , I traded-in my .:R32 for an 06 Evo IX (Rally Red).
I'll be picking this puppy up today @ 3:00 , Aside from the EVO's performance
and looks , I just couldn't pass on this great deal : SLL pkg + Lojack+ GAP
for only $30,850 + tax and license . Is this a good deal ? I think so , CarsDirect.com got it done for me . I got 27k for the .:R and payoff
was $27981. LET THE FUN BEGIN AGAIN !!!!

Yes, that's amazing. That's about 4k below MSRP. No idea how people are getting dealers to eat all their profit when these cars sell so well...

Kewl!! I'm in the process of trading my VW R32 as well. How miles did your R32 have? Mine only has 19k so, hopefully I can get at least $27-28k. I'm going to try and get the EVO 9 MR for $34,500 or $35,000. Do you think this price is do able.

 

It should be. People have been claiming incredibly low purchase prices on all sorts of IXs. I don't know what's going on, but it's as if everyone is getting IXs thrown at them by the dealer. Other people would buy these things a few hundred above invoice all day, but somehow people on here are getting way below invoice, or so they claim.

The invoice price on a IX after adding the MR package, zero lift kit, and destination charge is right at 34.7k. Try to get one for that amount before TTL.

Thats a pretty damn good deal. I paid more than that for a bare bones IX.

 

that's a good deal. i paid about a grand less than that for my '05 8with ssl and had a few people not believe me till i sent them sales reciepts....that's sweet deal for a 9 IMO.
