What a difference a year makes
I purchased my evo from Dan Georger
.
I paid MSRP.
So far they have been great to deal with.
They did not push too hard on the pit pass.
They knew I did not want my front plate screwed on the front bumper.
All good so far.

One advantage that many of you have in the more populated areas (Cali, Long Island, etc) is that you have multiple dealers to go to. Here in Rochester, there is one dealer selling Evo's. When I mentioned that I was going to go to another city to buy my car (Albany, Buffalo, or Syracuse) I was told that all of the regional dealers had met earlier this year and agreed to a $5,000 markup
Of course when I mentioned buying a car out of state at Boch Mitu, then they wanted to deal...
Also, because there are fewer dealers, there are fewer cars to choose from. I called all around in a 100 mile radius and no one had a Tarmac Black Evo coming in. The local dealer was willing to change one of their allocations to get the car that I wanted though. I'm also thinking ahead of myself and plan on having my Evo serviced locally. Hopefully their service is good because the next closest Evo dealership is probably 80 miles away!
