Help find a Greddy Ti exhaust modification thread - I searched!

Ok, don't flame me. I searched for a while...I found this thread before I bought an Evo (months ago) and now I cannot find it for the life of me....

Someone had stretched their test pipe 1 inch to help "coax" the greddy Racing Ti from under the bumper. I ordered the same system and was hoping to find the thread so as to duplicate what this person had done.

My search skills are teh suck, I guess.

Anyone remember this thread or can help search for it? Thanks a lot!

You can modify the stock hangers after perhaps adding a 1.5" custom 'spacer' at the rear flange. A good exhaust shop can do this for you for about $100 or so.

Just go to a muffler shop and have them cut one of the flanges off your cat delete and add a 1.5" or 2" piece with a flange to it.

I just noticed you have an 06 you could probably have them add the extension to your cat if your looking to keep it. Just keep the flange on the cat in case you want to take the extension off some day.

Excellent point. I should probably make an adapter with 2 flanges and a piece of pipe. I will try to expalin with stick art like this: |=| Asuper mini test pipe after the cat!
