Question water temp gauge (stock) help!

After I installed my shift light behind the vent, every thing was all right, but when I installed my boost gauge, my water temp gauge stoped working. Its the only thig on the instrument cluster that doesnt work. I checked where I went through the fire wall grommet and I was well away from the wires, checked behind the radio for anything loose and didn't find anything. I haven't hooked up power to the boost gauge yet so nothing could have shorted it. Any advice? I am stumped.

Interesting... I installed a 10.5 hotside on another members car last week.... his gauge stopped working at the same time (coincidence). On his ride home from my house, the gauge started working again and has been fine since.... we both just figured it was a fluke.

1/2 my dash lights dont work, and my Temp guage will stay at midway on startup(for 5 minutes), and then go down to cold. I have a wiring issue also. will let you know what I find out!

Took it to the dealership, 2 shorts in the wire from the sensor to the ECU, replaced for free, plus replaced recalled turbo coolant hose, and washed the car, NICE!

Well your dealership is certainly lot nicer than mine. I don't want them to touch the car more than they have to.
