Did you buy 10 beatrush underpanels and now are saying they are your "custom" ones?

Just another point of view:

In Corky Bell's book of Designing Tubo Charged Systems, he diagrams an air-trapping type opening, as superior to one that lets the air flow around an FMIC.

It apparently acts as a type of Ram Air effect though the fins, causing a greater cooling effect to the Charge Air inside the IC.

Neither the VIII or the IX actually completely traps oncomming air but the 6x22 rectangle on the IX would seem to fit that type of fresh air intake for the IC cooling area more closely than the VIII, which totally allows the air to flow around the sides.

(I'm trying to decide whether to replace mine with a IC because I have the opportunity to do it at no cost to me.)
