HOw many EVO owners out there are still using the stock MAF with a relfash?? Does anybody use a speed-density ( hks VPC kinda thing) with a reflash?
does anyone beside maft pro support speed density? and how well do they work?

You can't run speed density with a flash. You have to have a standalone for that or the MAFTPro.

 

what about all the xede or ecutek stuff?? are they similar to a dsm link??

and is maft pro the only people who do speed density??

EcuTek is just a flash. The Xede is a piggyback, but they don't allow for a speed density setup. There's no one running a flash without a MAF that I know of...

Vishnu recommends the stock intake anyway. Why are you so interested in removing the MAF? It's mostly helpful when going with a big turbo setup where you'd need a standalone anyway.

 

SO only maft pro does it? any luck with that system?? perhaps i'll go check their vendor forum.......

i have a home made quais VPC/SAFC system for 1G DSMS, (2Gs and 3000gtVR-4 in the works) but I am curious if there is a need , ( oppurtunity) for this in EVOs

 

MAFTpro or AEM is the only way to get rid of the MAF completely as of now, another possibilty is to try running a blow-through MAF.
