It took a long time and it was difficult but I'm sorry to say I just sold my Evo 8 I hardly drove it. It was just sitting in my garage and thought it was a waste so I decided to sell it. It will be missed. Hopefully I'll be able to pick another one up in the future.
Anyway just wanted to share a little story about the guy that picked up my car.....
He first picked up a red evo 8 about a couple of years ago. He had some problems with it so he sold it. I think he added a intake and lost power. I don't think he knew about adding the intake on evos. He sold the evo and got a RX8. He said the RX8 was fun but didn't have too much power. He traded it in for a S2000. He said it was alright but was too small. Then he picked up a 350Z. He enjoyed the 350Z. Then he went to test drive the STi. He liked the STi power and ended up getting it. Then he decided to get a M3. He thoght the M3 was to over priced so he sold it and wanted a Evo 8 again. Then he picked up my car. I couldn't believe how many cars this guy went thru in that short period of time. He told me of all the cars he had the Evolution 8 was the best.

im sure he lost a bunch of money by doing that....so if he just stayed with the evo, he could have just kept the evo and bought a whole other car.

Cool story, I can understand why you would prefer either the STI or Evo over the rest of those cars.

Sorry, forgot to write more. I guess it was kind of my last post since I sold my car. Just wanted to say peaceout to everybody. It was fun being apart of this forum even though I didn't post much but I did get alot of helpful information from everybody. Don't worry man, I didn't take it personal. I expected some sarcastic feedback lol. It's all good.
Anyway I was thinking about picking up the Evo X when it comes out. I like the new Lexus IS350 is but doesn't come in manual. I have a couple of years before I pick up another car. Probably decide then. I will miss my Evo 8. That car was the @#$%.
