How to get Scanmaster 3i logging?
Does anyone know how to get the Scanmaster 3i pocketlogger working with a PDA?
It's got a serial output and comes with a .prc executable, but I can't get either my Palm IIIe working (says needs 3.5 or higher OS) with it
or my brandnew Palm T|X (which has a USB sync cable and doesn't work when I adapterize USB to DB-9).
The obvious next step is to get a PDA with 3.5+ OS and has a native serial/RS232 sync cable, but seeing as I've already struck out with 2 PDAs that I've bought just for this I'd like to make sure.
Anyone know who makes it? Contact information? I would send these questions to the manufacturer but the documentation provides no contact info and I can't find their website either. The docs don't address my questions either.
I like everything else about the product but this serious hassle with the logging functionality plus bad documentation and no contact-info forces me to give it the big thumbs down.
