Whats this 4g54 block? I know it's a single cam motor found in some older trucks and cars, but is there any way to bolt it up to an evo considering one of the versions was made for 4wd drive trains.

Would the evo head bolt up to the block?

never heard of this one but the one i know works is the 4G64. it is a dohc from the 94-96 base galant. evo head bolts up, but u have to mod the water pump, & add oil squirters. it has 100mm stroke vs the evo's 87mm which = instant torque!!!

stroke!

Yeah the 2.0L 4g63 with the 2.5L 4g64 crank makes it a 2.3L. We sell a stroker kit for the evo that replicates this except it has stronger rods and pistons.

I have a 1g talon and I really wish it had more torque. I know you evo guys complain about the lack of power before 3k and this would definatly help.

not the 4g64 thats a 2.4l found in galants, i'm talking about the 2.6l found in old Dodge trucks, Starions, and forklifts.
