Depending on what model of Evo you have and whether you have the package. It is always light without any eletronics parts. If you are really hardcore about it, even 1 less fuse would make your car "lighter".

Sat there and read your post once, then again, then on the 3rd time finally realized what your trying to say. I think i'll keep my power windows, and im pretty sure manual windows are lighter, thats why they put them in the RS

I'm not sure on the Evo, but I was just watching a Top Gear video of some high end ride where, for that particular car, power windows were lighter.

If you want to lose weight there are much more effective means than swapping out power windows (i.e. lw battery, exhaust, Ti bits, etc.).

Yea much cheaper too... anything without a motor will weigh less.

Power windows are heavier, that's why mitsu didn't use them in the RS and also to keep the cost down.

there's a lot you have to switch over from the RS to make power windows to work.... it's really not worth the weight/cost savings if there is any in my opinion.
