Ok here's my problem,
I'm buying an 06 evo in 2 months so I now have time to decide

1. I really want an MR, but i think my finances wont let me.

2. Evo IX w/SSL, again only like $1000 less than the MR, Finances wont let me.

3. Evo IX w/o SSL, This is what i'll probably get, but is it gonna suck that bad to not have HID's or The sunroof?

does anyone have pics of the non-hid headlights??

can u wait a little more then 2 months? if u can u might be able to get the ssl or mr

 

dont buy what you dont really want..

 

Sunroof can be missed. Aftermarket hids go for about 250 and they are better than stock. I'd go with the GSR

 

I Probably could, but I have Been without a car since July 4th, 2005, some idiot totalled my love(car)lol!!

so it might be really hard, since all I do is sit at home and go to work, i'm 22

I went from a car with a sunroof (VW R32) to a Evo VIII GSR and I havent thought about a sunroof since. I wanted a sunroof again, but there were not many 05's left when I bought mine. You will have plenty else on the car to play with, you wont even think about the sunroof

 

dude, go with the gsr. Think about it, you save say $4-5k in cash. Buy an HID kit, buy some good coilovers, get some nice rims later and youre done!

 

I really like having a sunroof, i haven't had a car without one since 1994

 

When my little brother and i drove the 350Z down to Virgina to pick up my VIII this summer, we drove back through your town. While at the gas station, some kids came up to us and asked if we were going to a car show. My VIII's first compliment and the Z's 324,567th.

 

or look for a very slighty used 05 VIII...you won't be sorry.

 

Call another dealership and get your dealership to sell their car for that price...
