So did anyone get gauges yet?

so has anyone got gauges intheir evo yet? if so what did you get/what do you want to put in???
If you have put them in how hard was it? is there a sep up in the car already for the factory gauges that you can tap into or is more complicated then that.???
Also ahs anyone seen an APiller setup that will work for the car?

I think have 1 or 2 gauges on the steering wheel column would look the best. I have a boost gauge on my the column and it looks nice. Looks like stock too.

Something like this:

Or some nice pods on top of the guage cluster cowel would also be nice. You won't have to look too far from the road.

I just spoke with RMR yesterday and they will have their CF steering wheel column cover available to ship end of week start of next week. $99.99. They have some pics on their web site if anyone is interested.

I think I'm gonna either go the HKS CAMP direction, or maybe the HUD boost gauge.

So, why would you want to put a boost guage (assuming it's a boost guage) infront of the Tach?!? Looks like a dumb place to me.

I agree, I think that pod is ugly. Way too big. If I had a boost gauge on the column I'd mount something smaller than a 60mm gauge. And I would offset it to the left or right to get it out of the way of the tach as much as possible. Perhaps a left offset so that boost, tach, and speedo are all kind of clustered together.

it's also a possibility to sacrifice the left center a/c vent, and place a guage there. i was considering a small screen there if i do go the CAMP route.

Actually the pod is not big at all. It also does not block my view of the tach.

Ugly? Idunno it think it looks stock. I like it better than the A pillar pods.

Here is pic of mine.

It might block the tach for the EVO's. I have not really looked at their gauges, so I wouldn't know. It work fines for me.
Just a suggestion for you guys.

Sorry but i dont see how that looks stock when it blocks a quarter of the tach. It's just not clean imo. I will probably go with the pillar. I dont care if its been done alot, its the best spot for a gauge, so hence the reason alot of people do it there. But not 3, im probably gonna get only 2, boost and a/f.
