So did anyone get gauges yet?
According to the guys at RMR the steering wheel pod does not block the tach around the number sweep which is the important part to be able see.
I do agree with a lot of the negative comments on this thread though, regarding the look of the RMR pod. I would almost have to see it in person as it seems a little large. I also think the solid black steering wheel pod pictured on this thread actually looks smaller and better in that location than the CF RMR unit.
The steering wheel pod mounted gauge is certainly in an easy to view location in comparison to the factory gauge pack. I think carbon-trix CF dual gauge A-pillar pod for the Eclipse looks like a pretty good option that would allow for a Boost and EGT gauge. I wonder how well that piece would fit on the EVO? Perhaps they will make one specifically for the EVO?
Options will only get better as time goes on, but I hate not having a boost gauge.

Sorry but i dont see how that looks stock when it blocks a quarter of the tach. It's just not clean imo. I will probably go with the pillar. I dont care if its been done alot, its the best spot for a gauge, so hence the reason alot of people do it there. But not 3, im probably gonna get only 2, boost and a/f.

If the boost guage does not resemble stock gauges, then Idunno what does.
And it also does not really block that tach that much. Might be the angle of the pic. When I sit in my car, I can see 0RPM all the way to redline just fine.
Like I said, that is just a suggestion. I just like a steering column mounted gauge than an A pillar mounted one. I'm not telling everyone to stay away from the A pillar ones.
Some people might like one over the other.
I have thought te same thing looking at my EVO get ride of the lancer gauge spot and put a boost gauge. If any of you vendors are looking at this, this would a great way to have a stock looking set up. Wich I am sure alot of us new EVO owners would purchase
