Well um...

I lost control of the Evo just now.....Wet rainy day in Florida.

I was behind a car parked at the train tracks when train passed and then lifts opened the light was green for turning left, so I gunned behind the car infront of me. The guy in front decides to go straight and the light turns yellow. So I gun it to get the light. When the car is in the tighest part of the turn the boost kicks in same time and the car guns ( I figure the Advans are invinsible LOL) and out goes the tail. The car is going towards the opposite traffic that is waiting at the light, I counter and the car lines back up the other way facing the ditch and then i finally regain control. All I have to say is phew! Everyone was looking in shock and i just calmy drove away.....

I'm sure when the nose pointed to the car in the other traffic lane, that driver must of **** HIMSELF. Cause the car crossed into the furthest left lane on the rightway, essentially one the lane before the opposite traffic. Got about 10 feet to the other car before I changed angles

 

The Yoko 046s are not great in the rain. Have to be careful with the throttle.

 

advan's are very fun in the rain...

PS2 are better in the rain, and almost as good in the dry. Lucky save by the way. I say lucky because boost shouldn't suprise you.

 

the evo is awesome but not invincible...good save. glad no-one got hurt.

 

I can just imagine what the look on peoples faces where when you corrected it.

 

lol, i kinda had same story, i was waiting in middle lane to get into the left lane to join traffic. i waited a while, it was pretty busy at that time, and i finaly got frustrated and just punched it to match the speed of traffice (bout 40mph). anyways i turned a little too tight and my car did the same, gave way, so i quickly let off the gas and countersteered , sure enough i slide the other way so that my car is facing directly to oncoming traffic, lol right after that it got straight...i my self almost **** my pants, man that was scary, never have done that again since that little incindent

 

advans and rain don't mix the colder they get the harder they are.....

Be careful with the Advans when there cold, wet, or worn down hey get very unpredictable
